Safety Recall Conquest

Our Client: Leading Provider of Automotive Safety Notification Services

Situation

An agency partner sought Acquire’s assistance to help create effective conquest (non-customer) options to increase the scale of their safety recall targeting programs. Given the restrictions to obtain motor vehicle records, obtaining good vehicle data for marketing purposes can be challenging and, worst of all, unprofitable. The 3rd party sources are limited to good source data, and even if consumers’ auto information is obtained, it becomes obsolete the moment the vehicle is sold.

If Acquire could eliminate non-owners from the files purchased, the return on investment for programs reliant upon accurate ownership information would increase exponentially.

Solution: Acquire's Advance Data Hygiene

Acquire’s advanced ownership hygiene was applied to a data set purchased from multiple 3rd party sources. In a multi-step process, Acquire first confirmed the individual associated with the address, then the presence of the vehicle information attached to the record. Once the ownership was confirmed, additional investments were made to provide email and accurate phone data to each record. The output was a list with a 95% confidence level in ownership and correct contact information.
